The Atlanta Christian Church will be working with The Country Aire Restaurant in Atlanta to raise funds for backpacks and school supplies for Olympia South Elementary students. Wednesday, July 12th is the day of the fundraiser - a portion of the sales will be donated towards backpacks and school supplies. We hope to see you there!
Jorgi Dupureur was recognized by the Board of Education for her role at the State Student Council Convention. Jorgi was an honor delegate and served as State Officer Credential Committee chairperson. Jorgi will be the Olympia Student Council President next year and she holds an officer role in the Cenois District. Congratulations Jorgi!

Anyone interested in high school cross country: change in dates, we will have our next group meet up to run on Wednesday 6/14 at 6:30pm. Meet at the main doors of the OHS
If you have been thinking about joining the high school cross country team but you aren't sure what to expect. Please join us this Wednesday morning 6/7 at 8:00am at the high school to try it out. We will split into pace groups and go for an easy run, so don't be intimidated! If morning doesn't work for you we will also meet Monday 6/12 at 6:30pm. Congratulations to junior Keagan Uphoff on a fantastic track season! Keagan competed in the class 2A IHSA State Meet at Charleston today. Keagan ran 15.69 in the 110 meter high hurdles, placing 19th; he cleared 6' 0.75" in the high jump, which had him tied for 12th place; and he ran a 40.90 in the 300 meter intermediate hurdles, placing him 10th and missing finals by 0.01 second!
