MS baseball varsity gets a big 7-4 win at East Peoria tonight. JV falls 7-2. Both teams in action tomorrow morning at home vs New Berlin. Varsity game starting at 10:00 with JV following.
SPARTANS SLAY HILLTOPPERS 9-0! Boys varsity soccer wins big at home last night as they hosted Mt. Pulaski. Jr Tyler Carroll led the scoring for the boys adding 6 goals to his total. Jr Austin Rebbe started the scoring off with a bomb from 30 yrds out, and finished the hat trick off with 2 more goals. Boys improve to 2-2 on the year, and return to action Saturday morning as they travel to Eastside to take on the Raiders of East Peoria. Kick off set for 10:00 am, come out and support the boys!
The Lady Spartans got a solid win sweeping Clinton at all 3 levels. Varsity won 25-22&25-11.Jv 25-17,20-25,15-9, Freshman 25-17&25-14.Aubrey Rycyzyn led the way w/9 Kills, 10 digs, 3 aces. Grace Carter had 24 assists, and Seda Pierce had 3 blocks!
MS Varsity Baseball gets a 6-3 win over Tri Valley tonight. JV also gets a win vs Tri Valley 11-1. Both teams are at East Peoria Friday at the Eastside Center. Varsity game 4:30, JV immediately following.

Tough night for the Lady Spartans volleyball team tonight as they lost in 2 to a tough Tremont team 25-11& 25-14. Kills led by Seda Pierce w/5, assists Grace Carter 10, digs Aubrey Rycyzyn w/10, aces Aubrey Rycyzyn w/1.
Jv lost 25-20, 25-17, 15-12.
Freshman lost 25-20 & 25-22.
Morton gets the best of MS baseball varsity tonight 12-0. Varsity will play Corpus Christi and Tremont Saturday at Ironwood baseball field. Game times are 9:00 and 11:30. MS JV plays Morton and Dunlap Valley at 9:30 and 11:30 Saturday at Morton.
Today at Olympia
MS varsity baseball fell to Bloomington tonight 10-0. JV followed up the varsity game and got a big 14-0 win. Varsity is on the road at Morton tomorrow at 4:15.
The middle school baseball games vs. Bloomington JH today will both be played at Union Park on GE Road in Bloomington in an A/B DH starting at 4:30pm.
The middle school softball games scheduled for today Aug. 28 at Tremont have been cancelled, due to wet field conditions. There will be practice after school.
Today at Olympia
The lady Spartans fought hard in their home opener tonight vs DeeMack. Losing in two 25-14 & 25-21. JV won and Freshman won. Way to go! Next match vs Tremont Thursday at Tremont starting with the freshman at 5:00.
Due to the heat, all outdoor games and contest scheduled for today Aug. 27th have been cancelled. High School volleyball will still have their home opener tonight vs. Dee-Mack. Soccer, Girls Swim and Marching band will practice inside. All other practices are cancelled.
Girls Swim meet is still on for this evening vs. Mahomet Seymour as it is inside. The meet starts at 5:00pm and we will be honoring our senior swimmers.
