Savanah Beavers finished 4th in the Illini Prairie Conference meet while the team finished 5th in the 10 team conference. Savanah was named All-Conference based on her top 10 finish.

MS Girls Cross Country finished 3rd out of 22 on Saturday! 2 girls finished top 10! Overall, 14 runners had PR’s on both girls and boys teams!

OHS students celebrated college and career readiness during the second Pathway Day of the year. Students set goals for upcoming college readiness testing, heard from speakers, practiced mindfulness through yoga, talked about dealing with stress, and took a visit to ISU!

Juniors heard from a panel of ISU representatives about applying to college and getting involved on campus
Underclassmen learned about applying to the Bloomington Area Career Center from Peggy Arbuckle and current BACC students. Emily Saddler also came our to share about College and Career opportunities through the Illinois Extension.
Juniors took a trip to Illinois State University to get a taste of college life.
The freshmen football game scheduled for tonight Oct. 3rd has been cancelled.

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams as both teams finished 2nd in the EPGXC invitational tonight. The boys placed 5 in the top 16 with Charlie Kistner in 2nd and Jon Neville in 3rd. The girls team was led by Savannah Beavers in 7th and Anna Bieber in 14th.

Reminder: the weekend storm knocked out the phone lines at OHS, OMS, and the District Office and they are still down today; Oct. 1. Elementary buildings are not affected. The phone company is working on fixing the issue. There is no estimate on when the issue will be resolved, but we will issue an update as soon as it is back up and running.
