preschool screenings

The Olympia School District will have preschool screenings on Wednesday, January 25th 2023.  Preschool screenings are available for children age three through five. This is a process to determine where children fall developmentally in areas such as motor skills, concepts, language, and behavior. Based on the results of the screening, a recommendation will be made to let you know if your child qualifies for the program.  This screening is mandatory for children to qualify for the Pre-K program.

These screening date is for all students in the District.  The screenings will take place at the Atlanta Christian Church (300 NE 3rd Street, Atlanta IL).

PLEASE NOTE: Your child must be 3 years old on or before the day of the screening.

If you are interested in having your child screened, please go to https://forms.gle/uojm9kZzyiqR... and complete the Google form.   An email with your appointment time will be sent to you after January 4th.

If you have any questions or issues with the form, please contact Ami Lawson at the District Office: ami.lawson@olympia.org, 309-379-6011 ext 1127.   *Please note that Ami will be out of the office over winter break though and will return to work on January 4th.

If for any reason, school is cancelled or there are gathering restrictions on a screening date, the DIAL preschool screenings will also be cancelled and a makeup session will be scheduled at a later date.
