Representative Tim Butler visited the Olympia Schools in his congressional area last week. Representative Butler started his day at Olympia South Elementary meeting with students and teachers. The visit coincided with fifth grade students in Rebecca Schwartz classroom studying the branches of government, thus, they were able to hear first hand from the Representative on how the legislative branch operates in Springfield. Representative Butler then toured Olympia West, where his visit coincided with first grade students in Mrs. Jennings classroom learning about responsibility. After his time at West, Representative Butler visited several rooms at OHMS and was able to witness the OMS celebration for the Softball Third Place State team.
We appreciate Representative Butler's support of the Olympia School District.
