Varsity baseball got a regional win tonight vs Cornerstone 8-1. Walker with two hits. Sloan, Olson, Gale(2RBI) and Martin(RBI) with a hit apiece. Walker(7IP, 0ER, 8K's) with a complete game no hitter! Spartans will face #1 seed Maroa Forsyth Wednesday at 4:30 in Clinton.
This past Friday we traveled down to Eastern Illinois University in Charleston for the IHSA Girls Track and Field State Championships. Mira Kistner was a state qualifier in the 800 m run and did a fantastic job!
She finished the season by having a PR performance of 2:23.51 and finishing in the top 25! That is an unbelievable accomplishment and us coaches are very proud.

What a weekend for Olympia Middle School at the IESA State Track Meet! Our athletes left it all on the track, and the results were legendary!
Here are the highlights from an unforgettable state meet:
STATE CHAMPION & RECORD HOLDER! Rae Lemons made history, winning and setting a brand new STATE RECORD in the 100 Meter Wheelchair Race with a time of 21.94! An absolutely incredible accomplishment!
Will Langley had an outstanding weekend, dominating multiple events to bring home 3rd in the 400m Dash, 4th in the 800m Run, and 5th in Shot Put! And he now holds the OMS 800m Run school record with a time of 205:10!!
The 1600m Sprint Medley Relay team (Emma Ekiss, Lexi Bollmann, Kinsley Gale, and Avery Miller) raced their way to an impressive 8th-place finish to stand proud on the medal podium!
More incredible State finishes:
Sawyer Anderson: Put up a powerhouse performance to finish 11th in the state for Shot Put!
Kinsley Gale: Rocked the track individually, finishing 14th in the state in the Girls 400m Dash and PR of 1:03.08!!
7th Grade 1600m Sprint Medley Relay (Landon Freitag, Brayden Wooden, Eli Collins, Ben Britt): Crushed it with a 14th-place state finish!
4x400m Relay Team (Bella Walters, Lexi Bollmann, Kinsley Gale, Avery Miller): Fought hard to finish 14th in the state!
Every single one of these athletes represented Olympia with determination, heart, and pride. Congratulations to the entire team!
