These Spartans attended the Future Educator Forum at Heartland Community
College on Wednesday, February 20th. The OHS students were able to
listen to current education majors talk about education programs at
Heartland, ISU and IWU. Early Career Educators also spoke to the OHS
students about what life is really like as a teacher. Our own Sarah
Abel (Oly West) and Matt Modrusic (OHS) were featured on the panel of
Early Career Educators. Finally, the OHS students were able to get some
additional details around education majors and programs from professors
/ staff at HCC and ISU. The profession needs energetic and talented
individuals - we are hopeful these Spartans continue down an Education
pathway!
