Starting on Monday, March 1st, the students and staff at OMS will be participating in a spirit week fundraiser hosted by the OMS Student Council to show support for our Olympia St. Jude Runners.
Students are encouraged to bring a suggested donation of $1 per day next week to participate in themed dress-up days. Students can certainly donate more than $1 per day to this great cause. Running footprint cards can also be purchased for a $1 donation, and we will display them in the halls at OMS to show our support for our Olympia runners. The Advisory who raises the most money for St. Jude next week will win a Dilly Bar party from the Student Council.
Dress up days are as follows: Monday, March 1st: Pajama Day; Tuesday, March 2nd: Twin Day; Wednesday, March 3rd: Sports Team/Olympia Day; Thursday, March 4th: Tie-dye Day.
All proceeds will go to our Olympia team of runners who will run from Olympia to Peoria on July 17th. The fundraising goal for OMS next week is $800. Together, we can meet our goal because we're Spartan Strong!
