Opening Day for baseball and softball.
It was a long day at the Armory in Champaign for the girls track team yesterday. The Rantoul invitational brought in some good competition. The girls team finished 13th out of 26 teams. Several girls shaved off time from our first meet. It's going to be a great season!
The boys’ track team had a great season opener today at the ISU Horton Fieldhouse. Top highlights include sophomore Evan Petri with an all time PR in the 1600 m run (5:39.62), junior Cohen Alexander took 7th place in both the 60 m (7.34) & 200 m (24.67) dash, and senior Keagan Uphoff placed 3rd in the 60 m high hurdles.

Baseball players: plan on being outside for practice at 3:30 on Monday. Make sure you have inside and outside practice clothes with you all week. Make sure to get registered and have physical stuff turned into the office by Monday.
Reminders: No baseball open gym tonight (Thursday, Feb 22) Season starts Monday. (Feb 26) Make sure players are registered on 8to18 and have a current physical turned into the office. More info for Monday will be posted soon.

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team fall short in a close game in the Regional Semi Finals to Tri Valley. The Spartans finish the season at 20-11. Big congrats to these girls on their accomplishments on and off the court this season

JV and Varsity Girls Basketball grab wins tonight on SENIOR NIGHT over Athens. The JV Girls finished their season with a 16-5 record. The Varsity Girls will play the first round of Regionals against Midwest Central on Saturday at 1pm in the OMS Gym. Come show your support!!
Tonight is SENIOR NIGHT for the Spartan Girl's Basketball Team. The JV and Varsity Teams take on Athens in a conference match. Come out and show your support for our seniors!!
