Thursday, May 15th was officially titled "Miss Jamie Day" and Olympia South! Students and staff celebrated Miss Jamie and her upcoming retirement during lunch. Thank you to Miss Jamie for all of your hard work and years of service in the Olympia District!

Did you hear that we are upgrading Skyward!? Due to this, we need to collect student transportation information earlier this year than we have in the past. Because of this transition, our Online Registration process will happen a few weeks later than normal (~July 16 instead of July 1). In order to create our transportation routes in time for the start of the school year, we need to collect this information before students leave for the summer.
A Google Form link was sent out via Skyward on May 8th (and will repeat two more times before June) to the Primary Guardian of Family 1 as listed in Skyward. You can also find this form on the Olympia Transportation website (Parents > Transportation).
Only one form should be completed for each child. If you have multiple children, please fill out a form for each child.
This form MUST be filled out. If it is not, your child's transportation information may be inaccurate, leading to errors in routing for your child. We will be closing this form on May 31st, so please fill it out as soon as possible!
** If you are an incoming PK/K family who will be registering for the first time this summer, you can fill out from from the website, or wait for an email from Skyward closer to May 31st, once your information has been entered into our system.

Thank you to the OHS students and staff for hosting Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students for Ag Day! Students were able to enjoy interactive and engaging stations around the high school campus and learned about numerous areas of agriculture.
We were so excited to welcome our "Grandfriends" to OSE this morning. The students and their Grandfriends participated in many fun activities throughout the building and got to shop at the Book Fair. Thanks to everyone for coming!
Today is Grandparents and Grandfriends' Day at Olympia South Elementary. Come and enjoy the morning from 8:00-10:00. We have lots activities planned for all.
Both third grades worked very hard on proposals for Dr. O' Donnell about
things they would like to have at lunch after learning how to be changemakers. Today, she was kind enough to come give them feedback on their proposals. Thank you Dr. O' Donnell!
