Olympia High School

On Saturday February 23rd, Brooke Denney, Shay Hunt-Schroers, Anna Singley, Macey Sympson, Kyle Meisner, Neil Alford, Erin Dederich, Savannah Beavers, Abby Stine, Chase Mayberry, Logan Wheeler, Kishan Jayswal, Jacob Bowers, Jake Spaid and Lillian Winkler competed in the ICTM State Math Contest regional competition.  The ICTM contest is designed to stimulate interest in mathematics, encourage independent study, recognize outstanding mathematical achievement and provide a meeting ground for students and teachers of mathematics through academic competition.  While none of our students will be advancing onto the state level, Mrs. Bowers and Mrs. Benjamin are proud of our contestants hard work and encourage their continued interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).  STEM club meets first and third Friday of each month.  Any OHS student interested in STEM club may join us during the second half of Activity period.
